Announcements

  • New Safety, Security and Emergency Preparedness presentation is now available on-line. This 10 minute self-guided presentation was developed by the University Emergency Preparedness Task Force and provides information on safety, security and crime prevention issues and offers guidance on emergency preparedness you can use at work or at home. See Emergency Guidelines for the Campus Community for more information.

  • Autumn has arrived! With the crisp air and fall colors, comes the enormous task of leaf collection. The Leaf Collection Handout contains safety tips for staff who work so hard to maintain the campus this time of year. Topics include:
    • Noise
    • Dust
    • Flying debris
    • Slips and falls
    • Safe lifting techniques
    • Weather issues
    • Leaf collection equipment maintenance

  • Safety recalls and alerts. New web page with various resources that provide information and links for many of these recalls and the agencies that issue them.
