Alcoweb is the site in this field and an excellent starting point for all research on alcohol at work. The site is financed by Merck Santé, an international pharmaceuticals, chemicals and laboratories group. Alcoweb is divided into two parts: a "general" section and a section for "professionals".
The general section contains a number of headings:

This heading contains safety strategies, and in particular strategies in the workplace and a series of questionnaires on alcohol use.
· Alcohol - health:
This heading goes further into the diseases caused by alcohol abuse and the subject of 'social aspects'. This last subject goes further into alcohol and work. Professional aspects, absenteeism, costs of alcoholism for the company, corporate culture, impact on working capacity, etc, are looked at. Finally the heading discusses the various European laws on alcoholism at work.

The site also has an interactive quiz and an MCQ. The site is available in English and French.
