ATEX - Non-binding guide to good practice for implementing Directive 1999/92/EC

Article II of directive 1999/92/EC concerning minimum requirements for improving the safety and health protection of workers potentially at risk from explosive atmospheres requires the Commission to draw up practical guidelines in a guide to good practice of a non-binding nature. This guide is primarily intended to assist Member States in drawing up their national policies for the protection of the health and safety of workers. The publication is available in all 20 official languages of the European Union.
