OH&S Standards Search (NoRA)

NoRA (German stands for Normen-Recherche Arbeitsschutz) is a search tool for standards relating to occupational health and safety. It can be used online free of charge. The database to which NoRA provides access contains information on over 5.000 standards (international and European standards, and German standards from DIN, the Deutsches Institut für Normung). It is updated monthly. The "ErgoNoRA" search tool provides additional detailed search facilities for standards in the area of ergonomics. Besides a simple search option, NoRA offers ten different fields in which search terms can be selected from index lists. The search terms can be combined. The abstracts and in some cases also the tables of contents of the standards can be called up free of charge. A list of draft standards which are relevant to occupational health and safety and are currently at the public enquiry stage can be called up directly. The tool is available in German and English.
