European Association for Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion (EuroSafe)

EuroSafe is….

  • an association with a solid foundation. During 1985-2004 the European Consumer Safety Association (ECOSA), the predecessor of EuroSafe, succeeded in bringing together a wide range of partners and stakeholders in the field of consumer safety and injury prevention. Building a broader approach that ties together the various domains of interest on the existing foundation will help to profile the overall burden of injury and the challenges of safety promotion within national and European policies;
  • an action-oriented professional association with a clear mission and a strong underpinning in communication;
  • a knowledge shop providing access to injury data, information and existing and emerging networks;
  • a bridge between policy makers, practitioners and researchers;
  • a forum for different professions and disciplines to meet and share knowledge to enhance the development and implementation of effective action plans.
