Effort-reward imbalance

Longstanding original research on chronic psychosocial stress at work resulted in developing and testing the concept and measurement of a theoretical model, termed "effort-reward imbalance". A substantial amount of epidemiologic and experimental evidence on health adverse effects produced by effort-reward imbalance is now available. The homepage provides you with a short description of the model's theoretical background and measurement as well as references on selected publications.
