The standards relating to fire protection are undergoing substantial development. However, it is not always easy to look up these standards. That is how the idea was conceived of setting up a web site exclusively devoted to fire protection, in the very wide sense of the term, where the title of a standard can be found using its number or, even easier still, by making a choice from over 300 key words which are specific to the terminology of the profession. The site forms a database, with over 800 titles of standards and draft standards, the majority of which are NBN ENs. The site also discusses NBNs, ISO standards and some foreign standards, the subject matter of which is not covered by Belgian standards. Comments are included for several titles.
