EduSCOL is a site created by the French Ministry of Youth, National Education and Research . The site includes access to 31 subsites devoted to particular disciplines and themes, including one on the subject of safety education. This theme is categorised into three sections: domestic safety, road safety and major risks. Visitors have access to relevant French regulations, examples of good practices, educational information sheets, a directory of people and resource bodies, statistical data and so on. The information is of use to teachers and those responsible for promoting safety in educational environments.
