Information system for the evaluation of health risks associated with occupational exposure to mutagens/carcinogens

The aim of this project is to ensure that results obtained from previous programmes and know-how are made use of in Belgian settings. The website contains useful information about estimating risk and about biomonitoring. It intends to make as much information available as possible about occupational exposure to the following mutagens/carcinogens: arsenic, asbestos, benzene, butadiene, cadmium, chromium, cobalt, ethylene and ethylene oxide, nickle, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), styrene and styrene oxide, vinyl chloride and ionising radiation. Various Belgian universities (VUB, KUL, UCL, ULg and RUG) are participating in the project.
