New York Committee for Occupational Safety and Health (NYCOS)

NYCOSH consists of some 200 local unions and over 400 individual employers, occupational doctors, lawyers and other safety and health workers. The site offers a vast mass of information on every possible subject relating to safety and health in the workplace, in the form of online documents (factsheets, checklists, etc.) and of an enormous list of links to other sites on the subject (government sites as well as sites of social partners, institutes and so on). There is also a guide to looking for online information on safety and health. The documents are written in simple English, designed to be readable by employees and other interested parties.
