The British Safety Council is Europe’s biggest independent organisation for safety and health in the workplace. The organisation works closely with major companies and develops safe work systems. A specialist team of auditors, educators, consultants and information specialists provide support to organisations in over 53 countries around the world. More than 12,000 employers are affiliated to the BSC, including SMEs. Part of the site (SafetyNetwork) is accessible to members only. They regularly receive the latest news from the field, together with personalised news adapted to their specific requirements. Via the site, members may also inspect guides that are published by the BSC. They also enjoy online access to the information centre. The organisation publishes Safety Management Magazine.
