The CSTB, Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment, (Scientific and Technical Center in the Building industry) is a public organisation that is supervised by the Ministry of Housing, the Directorate General of town planning, habitat and construction. The CSTB proposes mainly to help industrials, contractors, design offices, architects and construction supervisors. The public authorities assist the center as far as technical regulations and building quality is concerned. The site contains mainly explanations on the center and its different services. However, the links available on the site are particularly interesting. You can find some links leading to environment, fire safety, etc. but also a series of links dealing with the health of buildings, such as Legionella, air conditioning, etc. (The site provides a list of links to French speaking sites concerning the Legionella bacteria, a link to the weekly epidemiological Bulletin, etc.)
