The main task of the Belgian Institute for Normalization is the achievement of norms aimed at the creation of an optimal social economical framework where processes and services are optimal and where they keep an eye on the human and environmental safety. The normalization work concerns both, national and international matters. They represent Belgium as member of the CEN on a European point of view and as member of the ISO at world scale.
