The Belgian Research Institute on Working Conditions was legally established in July 1991. It is a public agency managed by the Minister of Employment. The main objective of the institute is to promote practice-oriented research that contributes to resolving terrain problems. The institute offers all practitioners concerned with improving the quality of work its know-how, methods, instruments, and even opinions on the situations with which they are faced.
