The ergonomics website contains data on the subject produced by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health in the form of checklists and instructions that are easy to apply to actual situations. The website also contains information on the main sources of information on ergonomics with links to relevant websites outside the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health.
The chemical safety website provides information that aims to advance the safe use of chemicals under normal circumstances, notably in the work environment, and to minimize damage in the event of an accident. The information may also be useful to consumers. Key issues in chemical safety are evaluation of the dangerous properties of chemicals before they are adopted at the workplace and assessment of the basic requirements that have to be set for working conditions, workers, methods of protection, and health monitoring to ensure prevention of excessive exposure and associated health effects.
