DEEP, the "Diesel Emissions Evaluation Program" is an initiative, sponsored by the industry, to facilitate the research and the transfer of technology about the discharge of diesel fumes, their health effects, measurement and control. Participants of this project are amongst others, manufacturers of diesel engines, the mine industry, manufacturers of systems for the control of discharges and the best research institutes for diesel gasses.
